How to use Etisalat BIS on Android devices
I have great news for etisalat users as I would be showing you how to use Etisalat BIS for their Android devices. This is not etisalat certified so limit your expectations and just flow with the rhythm. Etisalat users who are subscribed to the monthly BIS Plan which goes for N1000 with a data bundle of 3GB can use this tweak to power their android device. Weekly and Daily Subscribers can also enjoy this tweak. The good thing is that for every
N1000 recharge on your line, you will be given an equivalent extra airtime of N1000.
How to use Etisalat BIS on Android devices
- First subscribe to either Etisalat Monthly BlackBerry complete plan for N1000 by dialing *499*3# or their Weekly plan of N500 by dialing the USSD code *499*3*1#.
- Once your subscription is successful, configure your android device with the following:
- Navigate to Settings >> Mobile Networks >> APN.
- Create a new profile and input the givens below
- Name: Etisalat
- APN: blackberry.net
- Proxy : 10.71.170.5
- Port : 8080 or 9021
Save and activate the profile. You can now enjoy surfing the web.
NOTE
- The data can be used to power most android apps except Whatsapp.
- First try out Etisalat BIS Daily plan before going for either weekly or monthly to confirm if it will work for your device.
