A SHOCKING LETTER TO MC OWAS FROM A FRIEND ON HIS BIRTHDAY!!!!! HMM(MUST READ)
This dude was there... I was there... Others were there (to complete numbers i guess, cus i dont remember any of them).
I made it through to the final lap and he made it through too. My stage name, then, was "Skool-Boy", while his', then, was "Edo Boy"... Both boys made it to the finals none the less.
My turn came and went and i got the loud cheer of Theatre Arts Students who were there to give me the noise as i was one of the best friends of the Theatre (all the way from Religion). It was the turn of the second "Boy" and the MC made the mistake of allowing me there on stage while the second Boy performed... (Well, he was there on stage while i performed, so d mc had every right to continue with the mistake in his own turn).
Trust me na! I came up with a criminal idea of stealing his show while he spoke. He had the mic but i had the magic in my hands which converted even his own bit of the crowd to me, successfully... I took the glory (no be person name oh!)... And the Money too... Mary-Agnes Ansa Bassey was there too and i think she won money too... 4k Cash.
Evening came and morning came, days grew to weeks, weeks grew to months and months grew to years. This guy whom i met on stage, in a spirit of sportsmanship stuck to me (unlike others who would stick to malice) and our friendship grew from strength to strength.
GOn and On, Boys grew to men... While Skool-Boy grew into Jeremiah Undiandeye Adie, Edo-Boy grew into MC Owas. We said "Goodbye to yesteryears of Boyhood" (Boiz 2 men, 2013).
These men stuck to friendship. Owas was there for me, collected a bloody punch in my name from d supporters of my opponent during my SUG election. Owas never, for one day, considered withdrawing his support for me, not even when it was obvious that i was going to lose the election. Threats from my opposition on him (even in my presence) dint scare him as he was there for me till i lost. This boy was sidelined during that administration, no shows for him... Lol. But he dint mind cus he knew his star is beyond unical... He knew his INVASION lyes in his own hands as it lies in his enemies' eyes.
Today, Owas has grown to the skies which are just his take-off point to greater heights. I forgot to add that "Na him go escort me wen i wan carry drink go give my inlaws".
